Open to New Opportunities: We’re Recruiting for 2027-2028

Let me get right to it: my wife and I will be recruiting for international school positions for the 2027–2028 school year.

Some educators will happily spend an entire career in one place. We’ve learned that we’re not built that way. We love the challenge, growth, and perspective that comes from starting fresh somewhere new, learning a new community, and seeing the world through a different lens.

We’ve been lucky enough to build a life in places we never could have imagined when we first started teaching, across the Middle East, East Asia, the Caribbean, and South Asia. Every move has stretched us professionally, taught us something new, and reminded us how many different ways great schools can look and feel. Now, we’re ready for the next adventure.

But this next move is not only about us.

As parents of two children, we are thinking carefully about the kind of experience we want for them in the years ahead. We currently work in a small school within a small diplomatic community, and while there have been many positives, we know they are ready for something larger and more dynamic.

We want them to experience a school community with expanded academic pathways, stronger extracurricular opportunities, and the energy that comes from being part of a bigger student body. We want them to build friendships with a wider range of peers and enjoy the kind of teenage years that include independence, activity, and memorable experiences beyond the school gates.

So that’s the why behind this move.

The what is simpler: we are looking for a school where our skills, experience, and energy can make a meaningful difference.

Between us, my wife and I bring years of international experience across multiple regions, adaptability developed through different systems and contexts, a strong understanding of student wellbeing and belonging, and a commitment to helping schools move forward. We understand that great schools need people who can teach well, build relationships, support initiatives, contribute beyond the classroom, and approach challenges with professionalism and optimism.

We will be working through recruitment partners such as TIE, Search Associates, and International School Services, while also trusting in the professional relationships and goodwill built over many years in the international community.

If you know of a school looking for experienced, positive, globally minded educators who are eager to contribute fully to school life, we would be glad to start a conversation.

Ultimately, the best opportunities usually come the old-fashioned way: from one person saying, “I know two people you should meet.”

Ed X!
