The topic of human slavery is an uncomfortable one. Sadly, it comes up quite a bit in my world history classes. 

This presentation is my way of introducing the topic and exploring it from different perspectives. Although it is a world history course, I do make a connection to US history because the “all men are created equal” ideal coupled with ongoing slavery is an irresistible discussion/thinking prompt. The presentation contains general information, but links (using the hyper-doc philosophy) to other information sources and discussion-prompting questions.
